Season: Four
Episode: The Curse

Storyline: When Daniel's old archaeology professor
dies, he returns to his former colleagues: the jealous
Stephen, and his ex-girlfriend Sarah, who are busy
cataloguing some Egyptian artefacts. Amidst the
artefacts, Daniel discovers photographs of two jars
with Goa'uld origins. Eventually revealed as stasis
chambers, one has been broken and the symbiote inside,
Isis, is dead...the other, Osiris - believed to have
been destroyed in the explosion that killed Dr. Jordan
- may still pose a threat....
Shippy Moment: (#You gotta friend in me....#) Though
this episode focuses largely on the relationship
between Daniel and Sarah, it also provides a nice,
small but significant shippy moment at the end, as
well as a chance for Janet to get out of the SGC (for
the second -yes, *second* - time in 4 seasons). While
Sam, Daniel and Janet bend over a badly injured
Stephen in the temple in Egypt, Daniel calms him as
Janet examined him, stating "It's OK, she's a friend."
Significance: it's the first time we've *ever* heard
Daniel call Janet a friend.
