Season: Four
Episode: Beneath the Surface
Written by: Heather E. Ash
Directed by: Peter DeLuise
Review by: Nike

Storyline: SG-1 are captured and their memories erased. Put to work in an alien mine, unaware of their identities and friendships, Teal'c is the only one who may be able to remember their past and prevent their lifelong enslavement.

Shippy Moment: (#Rescue me....#) Though Daniel and Janet are never in the same scene in this episode, there still manages to be a little shippy moment (provided you're on full-project mode. If you're an S/Jer too, you'll already be working overtime ;) ) When Janet goes to Hammond to deliver some medical reports, she finds him quiet, but angry. He tells her of Administrator Caulder's unsuccessful sweep of the city, making it clear that he doesn't trust him, and explains that SG-4 will be drawing up a covert Search and Rescue mission. Immediately, Janet offers: "Well, if you're looking for volunteers, sir...", to which Hammond replies "...I'll keep that in mind." Her following "Yes, sir." is a little more subdued, she's obviously just as worried about SG-1 as he is....Danny in particular? Her anxiety here is clearly beyond just professional concern for her colleagues.
