Storyline: The Harsesis child, Shifu, appears on
Abydos and is taken back with Daniel and SG-1 through
the Stargate to Earth. When they discover Shifu has
suppressed his knowledge of the Goa'uld, they intend
to help him remember. However, through a realistic
dream, Shifu shows Daniel that knowledge is power, and
power corrupts....
Shippy Moment: (Bad Blood) In the infirmary, when
Janet announces she has to take a little of Shifu's
blood, he asks:
Shifu: Will you return it to me when you are done?
{At this point, Janet looks to Daniel, a little
unsure}
Fraiser: I'm afraid I can't. You see I have to do some
tests
on it and then it just won't be very good after that.
Shifu: Leaves fall from the tree once a year but the
tree still grows
strong and proud.
{More glancing at Daniel}
Daniel: Go ahead.
{smiles}
Fraiser: Okay.
Its a very sweet moment, with Daniel acting daddy-like
with Shifu, while still laughing with Janet about the
child's combined innocence and wisdom, and some very
cute looks directed at each other ;) Anyway, this
episode's worth watching *just* to see Daniel in the
BatCave, preparing to blow up half of Russia......
