Storyline: Ten years in the future, Earth has made an
alliance with the Ashcan, who've saved the world from
the Goa'uld. The SGC has been shut down, SG-1 has been
split up : Sam's married to a guy named Joe, Teal'c's
on Chulak, Jack's in Minnesota retired, Janet had a
desk job and Danny's....doing something else. When Sam
finds out she can't have children, she uncovers and
Aschen plot to sterilise the women of earth. SG-1
plans to send a note back to 2000, through the heavily
armed Stargate, to stop the alliance....
Shippy Moment(s): YES! Finally we have an episode with
some genuine, bona-fide, irrefutable, D/J ship! All
right, slight over-exaggeration, but the klaxons went
for this one, folks.
#1:
(#It started with a kiss....#) A small kiss, but a
kiss none the less. And yes, Sam got one too, but
Sam's evolved into such a sister-figure for Danny that
it's hardly the same thing. He also stood very close
to most of the time they were together, and sat next
to her a the restaurant...
#2:
(To be Continued)
Janet: (softly to Daniel) I'll see you soon
Daniel: Alright
Do I even need to say anything?
#3.
(Wave for the camera...)
As Janet's heading for the Stargate, Daniel's watching
her every step of the way. Almost at the 'Gate, she
turns round and glances up at him, and gets the
smallest little I'm-gonna-miss-you smile and wave.
Awww.
(In Conclusion) Maybe it wasn't any one thing, but the
overall feel of this episode was definitely promising
for the D/J ship. It certainly felt as if Daniel and
Janet were a lot closer...then...than they
are...now...(?) Will be a lot closer then than they
were now...Are now....
Closer anyway. They were very comfortable with one
another...so there's still hope....
