Her hands flew to her mouth, and she stifled a gasp as she recognised the familiar figure walking in her infirmary.
He was back. Daniel was back.
Every fibre in her body wanted to throw her arms around him, and pull him close to her. Yet, her training stood firm as she briskly walked towards the group of five.
"Daniel," she exclaimed, smiling; only her eyes indicating just how glad she was to see him back.
But the eyes that looked back were not of the man she loved. They were a stranger's eyes.
"I'm sorry, do I know you?"
