Sorry Nike, I know I promised "Sranded" soon, but for some reason it's
stranded me at the moment and this little thing popped into my head so I had
to write it down.
She kissed me. Her lips, my lips, together.
It was strange. Well not the actual kiss was strange...that was actually
quite wonderful. The fact that it was her...and me...and a kiss. That was
strange.
I wasn't expecting it. I've never thought about it before, hell I've never
even thought about her before, at least not that way.
I mean...she kissed me.
What am I suppose to do now? I'm standing here like an idiot in the middle
of my lab with my mouth hanging open and probably the dumbest look in the
world on my face. Yet it seems to be beyond my ability right now to move or
to think about any other subject than that kiss.
What did it mean? It was brief, a peck mostly, so was it just a friendly,
'I'm glad your feeling better because I'm your friend and doctor' kiss? If
so, I've never had my doctor kiss me before and how many people did she do
that to? Or was it something more? But how could it be? We barely knew each
other besides work, a job which totally engrosses us both for a large
percentage of our time. We're associates, friends...but now we've kissed.
Was that her point? Did she have a point? She'd looked almost as confused
and surprised by it as me.
Yet *she* kissed *me*.
The strangest part was…I kissed her back.
