AUTHOR'S NOTES:
Bryn: So this started out as a purely innocent conversation on AIM.
I said: "Talk to me so I don't have to do homework" Becca said: "What
do you want to talk about?" I said: "How about Daniel and Janet
jumping each-er, I mean, getting together?" That convo turned into
writing a fic, with the only stipulations being it didn't have to be
realistic and it didn't have to be sane. That turned into this. If
you don't like it, blame Becca
:)
Becca: HEY! So this is all *my* fault? Geez! I only took Danny's shirt
off...oh and there's...oh don't worry *scowls in Bryn's direction*
Daniel was in the infirmary, as usual, after a mission. The rest of
SG-1 had gone up to the briefing with the General, leaving Daniel and
his broken arm alone in the infirmary with Janet. Of course, alone
with Janet wasn't really correct, since they were in the infirmary and
there were a lot of nurses around who kept bugging him with "Would you
like anything Dr Jackson?" and "Can I get you a nice drink?" He didn't
know why they did that.
Eventually Janet got tired of her nurses drooling all over her… uh,
patient so she growled at them and gave them all her ‘I’m-the-mean-CMO’
face until they scurried away. Daniel gave her a thankful smile. Janet
played innocent as she inspected his appendix scar.
“Uh, Janet? I broke my arm.” Daniel reminded her.
"You did?" Janet asked, conveniently forgetting. "Oh, right. Well, take
your shirt off anyway!"
Daniel wondered about that, but did as she asked, with a little help
from her of course, since one of his arms was broken and he couldn't
exactly move it much.
“What does my chest have to do with my arm, anyway?” Daniel asked her.
“It doesn’t, I just like looking at it… oops, did I just say that out
loud?” Janet mumbled, suddenly very interested in Daniel’s broken arm.
Daniel blinked, then blinked again. Then he smiled wickedly. "So...if
I took off...say my pants...you'd like looking then too?" he asked,
continuing to smile wickedly.
"Uh..." Janet looked around, really hoping he wouldn't because she
wasn't sure she'd be able to control herself, but also hoping he would,
for obvious reasons.
“Or how about you take off your shirt and then we’ll be even?” Daniel
grinned.
“Um…” Janet stared at him. “Are you serious? Annoying your doctor
isn’t a smart thing to do, if you’re not.”
"What do you think?" Daniel asked, with a suggestive look.
"Uh...I think that this isn't really a good place..." Janet said, still
flustered by his suggestive looks and grins.
“Janet?” Daniel said, suddenly serious.
“Yes?” Janet asked, looking at him suspiciously.
“If you’re serious, then so am I.”
"Oh..." Janet said, thinking quickly. She wasn't quite sure about this,
but was very, very serious. "Uh, well this isn't the place... but if I
let you out of the infirmary a little early..." She left the sentence
hanging, wondering if he would accept her offer.
“I have a better idea. Does your office have a lock?” Daniel asked,
leaning closer to her.
Janet in turn, leaned closer to him. “Yeah, a heavy duty one, to keep
a certain annoying and obnoxious Colonel out.”
“I bet it’s effective for all kinds of people then.” He got closer.
“Yep, I’d say it works on just about everybody.” And so did she.
“Wanna test that theory?” he breathed, now as close as he could
possibly get. His lips hovered dangerously over hers.
“Oh yeah,” Janet tried to say. Her vocal chords didn’t seem to be
working, though, so she just nodded vigorously. Then she grabbed his
good wrist and yanked him towards her office.
As soon as they were inside, Janet quickly closed and locked the door,
then turned around to face Daniel again, who just as quickly pinned her
against said door with his body. They both smiled very broadly just
before their lips found each others.
“If this is a dream, I really don’t wanna wake up.” Janet sighed as
Daniel kissed his way down her neck.
“Trust me, this isn’t a dream,” Daniel assured her. “I want you.”
Janet couldn’t help but giggle as one of her favorite songs popped into
her head. So she started singing it softly. “I want you to want me.
I need you to need me…”
Daniel stopped what he was doing briefly and looked at her quizzically.
“Are you singing?”
Janet stopped singing and giggled. "You have a problem with that?"
Daniel thought a moment. "No... I just think there's other things you
could be doing with your mouth at this time..."
"Like...this?" Janet asked, leaning in and giving him a mind-blowing
kiss.
Daniel didn't reply for a while, since her kiss seemed to have an
effect on him that was the equivalent of a gag, but one he definitely
liked.
“Yeah, that’s a good example,” Daniel replied when he could breathe
again.
Janet just grinned and decided to get a little revenge. Pushing off
the door she used her weight to shove him against the nearest wall and
wrapped her arms around his neck so she was now pressed fully against
him.
“Or… this?” she asked as she started nibbling on his ear.
He gasped at the contact, sucking in a breath at her teeth on his ear.
Her hands quickly reached out and grabbed his, preventing him from
touching her, at least for the moment.
Shifting her attention to his neck, she stopped briefly to taste the
salty sweetness of his skin.
“You started this,” she whispered, “so I hope you know what you’re in
for.”
“Oh, I think I’m going to enjoy this,” Daniel replied, finding Janet’s
lips with his own again, then wiggling free of her grasp so he could
bring his arms around her. Then he rolled them both along the wall so
he’d have the advantage again. Unfortunately he’d forgotten about one
thing. “Ow!”
Janet grimaced along with Daniel. “Careful with that arm, I really
don’t want to have to set it again.”
“I really don’t want you to either,” he replied into her mouth. "I may
enjoy this, but I think you will too." He grinned, before shifting his
broken arm to a better position and running his other hand up her
back, causing her to shiver slightly. Drifting his hand across her
shoulder, he brought it to the first button of her shirt, and started
undoing it. "I think it's time to make us about even," he said with a
grin, remembering how it had all started.
Janet moaned slightly and kissed him again as he focused on her shirt.
He’d gotten to the third button when the phone rang.
Daniel groaned. “Do you have to get that?”
Janet smirked at him. “Unfortunately.” She gave him one more kiss
before pulling out of his embrace. “I’ll be right back.
“Dr Fraiser speaking," she said into the phone, trying to ignore
Daniel, who had come up behind her and was kissing her neck.
"Oh yes, of course. I'll be right there." She put the phone down,
before turning to Daniel and giving him another mind-blowing kiss. "I
have to go...SG-3 are due back."
He sighed softly and gave her his best puppy-dog-eyes look. "I suppose
you'd better..." Trailing off, he began doing her buttons back up.
"We..." she started, heading for the door after her buttons were
completely done up. "…are going to continue this later."
“We’d better,” he told her, following her out into the infirmary. “I
was just getting good at kissing you,” he whispered in her ear.
Janet gulped and tried to maintain her composure as SG-3 trooped in.
She shot Daniel a dirty look and pointed toward a bed. “Go sit down
and I’ll be with you shortly.”
He grinned at her, and headed over to the bed she had pointed out,
grabbing his shirt back on the way.
Janet took one last look at him, before firmly clearing her mind of
him, trying to concentrate on SG-3. Fortunately they only had minor
injuries, and she could patch them up in no time at all.
20 minutes later Janet approached Daniel’s bed again, only to find him
reading a book. He looked up at her and smiled, a glint in his eye. He
noticed, much to his pleasure, that no one was in the infirmary, and
quickly sat up to … uh, greet his doctor.
“Just where do you think you’re going?” Janet stopped him with a hand
on his chest, the feel of which nearly distracted her, but she shook
those thoughts out of her head for the moment.
“Um, to you?” Daniel grinned at her.
“Not until I bandage that arm you’re not.” She gave him a stern look,
or at least tried to. “I do not need General Hammond coming down here
and wondering why, after two hours in the infirmary, you still don’t
have a cast on!”
“Oh, but please?” Daniel put on the puppydog eyes again and leaned
against her hand, trying his hardest to seduce her.
She tried her best to resist, and only just succeeded. "Daniel..." she
said sternly. "Your arm..."
He looked totally cute and innocent. "Yes...what about it?"
"Give it here!" she said. "No fun till your arm is fixed!"
He pouted, but extended his arm for her to mend. Giving him one last,
serious look she got down to business while he spent the time studying
her intensely. He couldn’t help the slight grin that was plastered on
his face, nor did he try.
“There, all better. Now was that so hard?” she asked, putting her
supplies down and turning to face him again.
“It was agonizing,” he replied, pulling a pained face. “Kiss me and
make it better?”
Janet grinned, knowing exactly what he wanted her to do and not caring
one bit. She leant down and kissed his arm, just above the beginning of
the cast. "Better?"
"Yes, but I think my neck's a little sore," he said, a goofy grin on
his face.
She leant down again, and kissed his neck. "Better?"
“Slightly, but now I think my lips are hurting a bit…”
She returned his goofy grin, then finally gave into what he wanted,
kissing his lips passionately. His good arm wrapped around her waist
and pulled her closer while she ran her fingers down his neck.
“Dr. Fraiser?”
The sound of General Hammond’s voice sent Janet flying backwards and
she nearly fell over another one of the infirmary beds. She stared at
him in shock, and he returned just about the same expression.
“What are you doing?” the General asked.
“Uh, checking for tonsillitis?” she supplied lamely.
"She was kissing me," Daniel said with a self-satisfied grin plastered
across his face.
"I see that, Dr Jackson," General Hammond replied with a raised
eyebrow. "I'd just like to know why she was doing it when she was
supposed to be working."
“She was working. See?” Daniel said, holding up his bandaged arm for
proof. “I was just, uh, thanking her.”
“Perhaps in the future you should thank her in your free time, son,”
Hammond grumbled, though with a trace of amusement to it. “While
you’re on duty, may I request that you stick to less demonstrative
gratitude? At least in the middle of the infirmary.”
"So does this mean you're not going to care if I kiss her in her locked
office?" Daniel asked with a hopeful look on his face.
"If I said no, would that stop you?" General Hammond asked.
Daniel and Janet looked at each other. "No, I don't think it would stop
him," Janet offered.
General Hammond just sighed heavily and left the infirmary.
Janet did her best to look mad at Daniel. “You almost got me in real
trouble,” she accused him.
“Almost, but not quite,” he said cheekily. “If I try real hard,
though, I bet I could get you in way more trouble.”
"You'd better not," she warned as he got up and started coming closer
to her.
"Of course not!" he said, feigning innocence. "Would I do something
like that?"
"Yes!" Janet exclaimed.
"Well... I guess so, but I won't this time... promise!" he said.
"So just what *are* you going to do this time?" Janet asked, as he came within three feet of her.
"Oh just this..." Daniel said, grabbing her arms and giving her a quick
kiss before pushing her gently back into her office. "Wouldn't want to
make the General mad after all," he said as she giggled delightedly and
quickly turned the lock in the door.
