AUTHOR'S NOTES: I really think that Janet should had said her last words to Daniel before she died, so here’s my version of Janet’s death.

There were Jaffa everywhere. Soldiers were falling left from right. Goa’uld ships in the air came out of nowhere dropping plasma bombs. The battle extended into the forest where medics were hiding out to save those who were hurt.

Daniel was trying to help a fellow soldier when Janet came for aid. A few moments later, the man Janet was aiding asked Daniel to record something for his wife. He started to talk to the camera that Daniel was holding for him but the pain that Airman Wells was experiencing was too much.

“Simon, Simon, look at me you are not going to die, okay,” she said as Jaffa blasts were zooming by and the sound of guns were going off in the distance, “I did not come all the way out here for nothing. Now extend the breathing, we’re going to get you on a stretcher, we’re going to get you home with your family in no time okay. Now you hang in there Airman,” she finished saying and all of a sudden a Jaffa blast hit her, “Aaahhh!”

“What happened is she hit?” asked Wells trying to see if she was okay.

“Janet!” called Daniel as he moved to her side, “I need a medic! Fraiser’s hit! I need a medic!” he kept screaming for someone to come.

“Daniel,” he heard and looked down to see an immense amount of blood flowing from her abdomen.

“Oh God,” he said, “Janet I…I don’t know what to do, God,” he said and then in an instant he took off his bandana and placed it on her wound.

“Go….…help….…Wells,” she managed to say as a trail of blood began to roll down from the side of her mouth.

“I’m not leaving you,” he said confidently, “Janet, please, don’t die on me,” and tears began to come down his face.

She swallowed in order to say something. Her breathing was growing weaker and her eyelids were getting heavier to keep open.

“Daniel,” she finally said and slowly brought up her hand to caress his cheek, “look…....after……..Cass,” she finished and Daniel placed his hand on hers, which was on his face.

“Janet, don’t say that, you’re going to be fine,” but he knew that she was slowly fading away. She shook her head slowly to signal him that she was not going to make it.

“No, no baby, please hold on,” he said bringing her body closer to his. The warmth that he knew was there before was slowly leaving her body.

“I…….I……..love……you……..Daniel,” she said as a tear began to fall down her face.

“God, I love you, please don’t leave me, I love you,” he kept repeating thinking that if he kept saying those three words, she will stay with him for a little bit longer.

“Love…….you,” she said and moved the hand she had on his cheek to his lips. He took her hand and kissed it. She forced a smile on her bloody face, but the pain got to her.

“Aaah,” she kept screaming as the moved and her legs made holes on the ground from her incessant kicking of her legs. Her body was reacting to Jaffa blast and Daniel knew that she was not going to last.

“Janet, sweetie, please hold on. I need a medic!” he screamed out again.

Where’s help, he asked himself, I don’t want to loose her.

Janet calmed down a bit and turned her gaze back to Daniel. She confessed her love over and over and Daniel returned it.

“Please, Janet, I need you,” he said and she began to caress his cheek over again.

Suddenly, any life that was left within her was gone. Her hand slipped from his grasp and her eyes gradually closed.

“No, no,” he kept repeating and held her closer, “I won’t let you go, please,” he said but it was too late. He cried as he held her and a few minutes later aid came, but Daniel wouldn’t let her go.

She was gone. The woman he loved was gone and he couldn’t do anything about it. He eventually let her go and everything afterwards was a blur. He didn’t remember getting to the Gate or even stepping through it.

All he remembered that on that planet, the love of his life was stolen from him.
