SUMMARY: Daniel and Janet get into a sticky situation.
DISCLAIMER: TPTB may own Janet and Danny and Stargate and all that other cool stuff, but *we* own the brownies! Mwhahaha!
AUTHOR'S NOTES:
Bryn: The smut was all KAT! I'm only responsible for the exploding brownies **g**
Kat: Well, I guess this clinches my title as Most Prolific D/J Smut Writer. Yay. Or something. I was dragged into this, I swear....
Becca: Um...I blame this allllll on Bryn. The fact that I came up with the idea to write a fic about chocolate covered Danny in the first place doesn't mean anything!
FEEDBACK: There may be brownies in it for ya… **beg**

Janet tossed another stack of papers into her outbox, and sighed, giving her neck a quick massage to ease the tense muscles. She -really- needed to get home and slip into a nice hot bubble bath...too bad she didn't have anyone to massage her neck and back for her, but with work and all, she barely had time for herself, let alone someone else.

Giving her desk one more, quick glance, she smiled to herself, relieved to be finally done. With any luck, she'd be able to slip off base without any one else handing her more paperwork or trying to kill themselves just so she'd have to stay on duty and patch them up. Just as she was about to leave her office, though, the phone rang.

Janet sighed, but picked up the phone anyway. "Hello?"

"Hi, um, it's Daniel..." She knew who it was. She'd known as soon as the gentle tones reached her ear, though she didn't know when she'd started being able to make that distinction. "Look, um...would you be able to come over? I kinda got into a little trouble..."

Janet's face crinkled slightly in confusion as she wondered why he'd be needing *her* help, unless… "Are you hurt? Daniel, what happened? Do you need an ambulance?" She quickly switched into 'doctor' mode and feared the worst. This was Daniel, after all. He tended not to do things in half-measures.

"Uh, no, no ambulance… Uh, well, it's really kind of embarrassing. Could you just come over?"

"I guess..." Janet said dubiously, wondering what he could possibly need help with.

"Great! See you in 10 minutes?" Danny said happily.

"Sure, I've just got to have one last little clean up, and I'll come," Janet said, sighing at the fact that her evening was probably gone already. It wasn't that she -minded- spending time with Danny...but her shoulders...and the bubble bath waiting...

Janet parked her car in front of Daniel's house and trudged up the stairs to his door. God, she was tired. She'd barely been able to keep her eyes open on the drive over and she urgently hoped that whatever Daniel's problem was, she could tell him to take two pills and call her in the morning, *after* her bath and a good night sleep. Unless he was absolutely dying or offered to give her a back massage, this was going to be a brief house call.

Raising her hand to knock, she was startled as the door opened before her hand hit it. An apron-ed Danny met her eyes, and she tried her best not to burst out laughing at the sight.

"Janet! Great! You're here!" he said, a brilliant grin spreading across his face.

"Yes, Daniel, but the question is: *why* am I here? And better yet, why are you wearing an apron?" All Janet could do was blink. This was just too weird.

"Well, see that's what I need your help with…" Daniel cryptically explained as he moved aside and gestured for her to enter.

Janet shook her head slightly and followed him into the apartment. For the moment curiosity had won out over fatigue. She didn't know how long that would last, but at the very least, she could probably talk Daniel into making her a cup of coffee for the trip home.

Following him into the kitchen, she stopped suddenly as Danny's cute bu…um, as Danny moved out of the way, and stared at the ingredients spread out all over the kitchen.

"Um…ok…" she said slowly, looking slightly worriedly at the large bag of flour that looked like it was about to tip over and spill its contents all over the floor.

"Well, I kinda wanted to make brownies…but I um, don't know how…" Danny said with a rather embarrassed smile on his face as he took in his extremely messy kitchen. "The kitchen usually isn't this messy…really!"

"Brownies?" Janet asked him, skeptical and more than a bit perturbed. "You made me drive all the way over here for brownies? And why did you decide at 11 o'clock at night that you needed brownies? Couldn't you have just driven to the grocery store and bought a packet of brownie mix? All you have to do is add water and turn on the oven!"

Daniel's face fell at her sudden outburst and he guiltily looked down at his hands. Janet sighed and felt horrible. Only Daniel could look like a five-year-old boy who just got his bubble burst.

"Daniel, I'm sorry. It's just been a long day."

"It's ok…I should have thought…I could've made them tomorrow rather then call you up and make you help."

"Well, now that I'm here, I may as well help…but you've gotta pay…coffee sounds like a good start!"

"Coming right up, Ma'am!" Danny replied with a grin, righting the bag of flour a little and turning the coffee maker on.

Janet glanced around at the mess that surrounded her and made a face. "All right, first off for making brownies, we have to *find* the kitchen."

"It's under here… somewhere. I think," Daniel assured her as he hastily tried to neaten things up.

Janet sipped at her coffee and watched Danny run around trying to find the things on her list of ingredients. She never thought inadvertently memorizing the recipe for brownies would come in so handy.

"Right, so I need half a block of chocolate, and a cup of cocoa powder…" he said, holding some of each in his hands and looking very confused.

"Um…no," Janet said with a grin. "You need a block of chocolate, and half a cup of cocoa powder…though you can put two blocks of chocolate in if you want."

Daniel gave her a sideways look as he continued trying to sort out the ingredients. "Make brownies a lot do you?" he asked cheekily.

Janet gave a little shrug. "I have a teenager daughter. Brownies happen."

"I knew I called the right person."

Janet cleared off a spot on the counter across from Daniel, and hopped up on it, so she could supervise. "Yeah, why *did* you call *me*, anyway?"

Daniel stopped for a second and ran through the list of people he knew, counting them off on his fingers. "Jack, doesn't even know where his kitchen is. Teal'c? Um, doubtful he knows what a brownie is. Sam, well Sam's amazing at almost everything she does - except cooking. So that left you or General Hammond. I guess I just like you more."

Janet blushed softly, staring down at her cup of coffee while Danny grinned, unnoticed by her.

"So, uh, have you gotten everything yet?"

"Nearly…I just need some flour…"

Janet sighed. "There's a big bag just over there, and it's going to tip over shortly!"

Daniel made a lunge for the aforementioned flour, but unfortunately the floor was already slick with other spilt ingredients and his feet didn't quite go where he wanted them to, so instead of saving the bag, he sent it toppling over. When the cloud of flour finally cleared Daniel sat on the floor looking rather baffled and Janet was laughing so hard she was nearly falling off the counter.

"I didn't think it was possible for anyone to make a bigger mess than Cassie in the kitchen, but, Daniel, you take the cake." Janet put down the mug of coffee before she spilt it and jumped off the counter to help Daniel. Kneeling down in front of him she managed to stop laughing long enough to take a good look at him… then she started giggling again.

"Gee thanks, Janet, you're so much help," Daniel said, rolling his eyes at the doctor.

"I'm sorry, Daniel," she sputtered, "But you have flour on your nose!"

Daniel couldn't help but smile, and Janet reached forward to wipe off the offending flour, when their eyes met. Like a scene out of movie, everything else seemed to stand still. The setting would have been downright romantic had Daniel not been sprawled on his back with Janet crouching on a sticky floor beside him. Or if Janet's brain hadn't chosen that moment to yawn. At any rate the spell was broken.

"So, uh…what do I do now?" Daniel asked, brushing some of the flour off of himself, and standing up carefully to avoid slipping over again.

"Do you still have enough flour to make brownies?"

"Uh…yeah I think so," Daniel replied, picking up the bag of flour and looking into it.

"Good, so get all of the ingredients and mix them in a bowl!" Janet said.

"It's that simple?"

"It's that simple," Janet confirmed. "I'll just go sit on your couch for a while, I think. I don't want any flour on me!"

By the time Daniel had finally managed to get all the ingredients in the bowl and mixed together, he looked up to find Janet sound asleep on the couch. He gently removed the cup of coffee still clutched in her hand and threw a blanket over her. She looked so peaceful he didn't have the heart to wake her. He'd just have to try and remember what she'd told him about the oven…

Looking doubtfully at the dials on the oven, he slid the tray in, deciding on high heat. They'd be set when they were done, so he'd be able to tell…

Going back into the living room, he sat down on the couch next to Janet and just watched her for a while. A few minutes later and he too was asleep, drifting off into sweet dreams of brownies and cute doctors.

Sometime later:

Daniel woke up with a start, hearing a high pitched alarm go off. Not quite figuring out where he was, he glanced around, disorientated, and hoping he wasn't on base. He had been having these wonderful dreams and Janet and brownies...

With a start, he realised that his arms were around Janet's waist, and that she was glancing up at him, looking quite amused. "Uh...sorry..."

"It's ok...but I think you'd better go check the brownies," Janet said, gesturing towards the kitchen where a few clouds of smoke were billowing out.

Daniel jumped up from the couch and dashed into the kitchen. Waving his hand in front of his face in an attempt to clear some of the smoke, he grabbed an oven mitt and tried to pull out the brownies… which were on fire. Spouting some questionable words in languages Janet couldn't begin to identify, he headed toward the sink and too late she realized what he was doing.

"No, Daniel don't put the brownies under-" Janet began, but was cut off by a large popping noise and a minor explosion.

She hurried into the kitchen, coughing a bit at the large clouds of smoke still hanging around, and knelt by Daniel's side, carefully checking for any injuries. "Are you ok?!"

"Uh...yeah...I think so..." he said, attempting to sit up, but she gently pushed him back down with a hand on his chest, reprimanding him gently for trying to move before she had determined if he was ok or not.

"Don't move!" She ordered him. "Let me look at you."

"Janet, I'm fine!" Daniel argued, looking down at himself. "…Just covered in chocolate."

Janet glanced up to find Daniel's face twisted in laughter. She thought for a moment about scolding him again, but couldn't keep a straight face either. He was right, he looked perfectly alright, in fact, better than alright. If it were possible, he looked even more delicious than normal, with chocolate dripping down his cheeks and smeared on his lips.

"I'm not even going to ask how you managed this, Daniel." Reaching over she wiped a bit of chocolate from his cheek and tasted it. "Mmm, you taste good."

"Oh really?" he asked, glancing up at her with a mischievous spark in his eyes.

"Really...I mean, chocolate...gorgeous man..." Janet stopped herself quickly, berating herself inwardly. "I mean, um..."

Daniel's eyebrows shot up and Janet felt herself turn bright red. Clearing her throat she looked everywhere but at him.

"Hey," Daniel said suddenly.

"What?" Janet responded, involuntarily glancing at him.

With a quick movement of his hand, also covered in chocolate, Daniel smeared brownie goo down the side of her face. "You've got chocolate on you." He smirked.

"Hey!" Janet yelped as the still-warm chocolate mess was all but tossed at her face. "You've still got more on you!"

"Well, we're just going to have to fix that, aren't we," he replied with a grin on his face as his hand reached for another pile of chocolate goop.

"Daniel Jackson, don't you dare!" Janet threatened him, grabbing at his wrist in an attempt to immobilize him.

"Or what?"

"Do you really want to find out?"

"Sure," he said with a toothy grin as his hand continued towards the nearest pile of chocolate goop.

Janet hesitated a second, before bending her head and kissing him. He didn't respond at first, caught by surprise at the unexpectedness of the kiss, but was soon kissing back just as enthusiastically.

When Janet pulled back finally, she licked her lips, enjoying the chocolate taste that lingered. Looking up into Daniel's eyes, she just smiled, not embarrassed in the least about what she'd just done. The look he was giving her left no doubt that he'd thoroughly enjoyed her retaliation, and that he couldn't wait for more.

Daniel slowly raised his chocolate-covered hand up to her face, but at Janet's dirty look he only smiled reassuringly. Very deliberately he traced her lips, coating them with chocolate, then moved in for another sweet kiss.

This one lasted longer, until Janet had to pull away and breathe, but Danny started getting up once she had pulled away.

"Hey!" Janet pouted, having regained enough breath to talk easily.

"Hey what?" he asked, sending her a completely innocent puppy-dog-eyes look.

"You kiss me, then get up and leave?" she asked with mock insult. She was feeling just slightly giddy with this new turn of events and didn't want it to stop.

"Trust me, I'm not going *anywhere,*" Daniel replied. He cupped her face in his hands (again covering her in chocolate, but Janet was really beyond caring at this point) and starting kissing her again. He broke away before too long though, and Janet whimpered slightly at the loss of contact with his chocolatey lips.

"I've gotta get the chocolate off of myself, Janet..." he warned. "We don't want it hardening now, do we?"

"Hard chocolate is just as good as melted chocolate..." Janet said with a pout. "But I suppose I could let you get it off...on the sole condition that I get to help, of course..." She finished with a smirk.

"Does that mean I get to help you, as well?" Daniel eyed her, the playfulness now giving way to pure desire.

"What exactly did you have in mind, Dr. Jackson?"

Daniel traced a line of chocolate along Janet's throat with his index finger, then leaned down and followed the line with his tongue. Janet shivered involuntarily, moving her hands to his back where they began to fitfully pull up his shirt. He moved his mouth back to hers, and she could taste the chocolate on his tongue. She quickly fumbled with his buttons and pulled his shirt off his shoulders.

She scooped up some of the warm, chocolatey goo and drew abstract patterns on his bare, smooth chest. Once satisfied with her artistic efforts, she grinned at him for a moment, then dipped down her head to lap at it.

She could hear him groan, deep in his throat, as she tongued one of his nipples. Then she felt him take hold of her and bring her down until he was lying on the floor and she was sprawled over him.

The chocolate was almost all gone from his chest, but she was still licking softly at it when he pulled her up, so their faces were together, and gave her a deep kiss. His tongue plunged into her mouth, devouring her, as his hands tore off her blazer and then her blouse. They were gentle, yet powerful, as they covered her lace-covered breasts and began to knead them.

She broke their kiss and moaned as one finger slipped under her bra, teasing her nipple. He rolled them over until he was on top and took advantage of their separation of mouths to move down her body and suckle her breast through the lace.

She wanted to moan, to cry, to scream, but she couldn't do anything but focus on the sweet torture he was applying to her. When it became too much to bear, she bucked up, then dragged him back up to her face. When they were firmly kissing again, she moved her hands down to his waist, where she started to undo his slacks.

It all became fuzzy when he began taking off her skirt. She wasn't quite sure what happened, or how much time had passed, but they were both naked and were rolling around on his kitchen floor and she couldn't remember ever feeling better.

Suddenly he broke the kiss and looked down at her. "Janet, I don't have any -"

"It's okay, I'm on the Pill. And I know your medical history." She smiled up at him, touched his cheek lightly with one hand, then brought his lips back down to hers.

And then, with no warning, he was inside her, thrusting deeply. Her climax built as his strokes grew faster. When one of his fingers slid between her legs to caress her there, at the centre of her pleasure, she cried out and came. Only seconds later, she could feel him spill into her.

Several minutes later, Janet tried to breathe regularly as she lay on the floor with Daniel still on top of her. She wasn't sure why she had let that happen, or where it left the two of them. All she knew was that she had fallen head-over-heels for one of her patients… one of her dearest friends.

"Mmm… Janet…" Daniel's voice sounded smug. "You know what we need to do now?"

"What?" she asked, praying he couldn't hear the trepidation in her voice.

"Take a shower. We're both still covered in chocolate."
