“You’re not my mother!“ God, no! That’s a stab into my heart. But... she’s ill... isn’t she? Sick people often overreact... but they don’t lie. So there must be at least a bit of truth. I love her, I love her like my own little girl. But I’m not like a mother to her. Did I really expect this? But what have I been to her? “OK, then what have I been to you in these past few years?“ Do I really want an answer? I’ve been nothing, nothing except for a fool.
